Orientation programme for B.Pharmacy and Pharm D. First Year students was organized on 7th September 2015, 11 am at Arya College of Pharmacy, Seminar Hall. The programme was organized by the staff and students under the guidance of Dr. Raja Reddy and Dr. Vishakha Kulkarni. Programme was hosted by final year students Ms. Kethika and Ms. Taruna sri priya. They actively took part in escorting the guests. The sketch committee members Ms. Bhavani, Ms.Vishalakshi, Ms. Priyanka, Ms. Honey moli, Ms. Saritha participated in decorating the college with colorful rangoli and other sketches with inspirational quotes and the rest.

The stage committee members Mrs. Nandini, Mrs. Sunitha, Mrs. Ramya Sree, Mrs. Shireesha and Dr. Manasa participated in the arrangement of the stage and welcoming the guests and the parents. The organizing committee members Dr. Vishakha Kulkarni, Mrs. Kumudha and Mrs. Janbee took the entire responsibility for organizing this event. Honourable chief guest Mr. Ramesh Adepu and Dr. Raja Reddy started the event by lightening the lamp. A traditional stage performance (Ganesh Vandana) was given by Ms. Samhitha and Ms. Sai swapna adding colour to the event. Mrs. Janbee lead the programme giving awareness to the parents and the newly joined students equipping them with the wholesome knowledge regarding the Courses (both Pharm.D and B.Pharm) duration, scope and opportunities as well.

Mrs. Kumudha introduced our chief guest to the audience. The programme was honoured by the presence of Management viz. Mr. Sudhakar Redddy Sir and Mr. Narendra Reddy sir. Dr. Vishakha Kulkarni gave power point presentation which involves the content of Aya College of Pharmacy. The members of the Hospitality committee Dr. Naveen Kumar, Mr. Shiva Sai Kiran took part in the arranging snacks and lunch for the guests and parents. Principal Dr. Raja Reddy sir gave guidance to the students regarding the course details and about the college and the role of clinical pharmacists. Then an inspirational speech was given by the Chief guest Mr. Ramesh adepu sir educating the students about the essentials clarifying the doubts raised by the students inspiring them to achieve their goals. The second year Pharm D. student Mr. Naveen and Third Year student Ms. Saba gave a very nice speech explaining about their experience about college. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Mrs. Sharon Pretty. The event was successfully ended by providing lunch for the parents and students.
